The cottage is the perfect base for those who wish to explore all that the Great Otway National Park has to offer. Only 40 minutes to the 12 Apostles and 20 minutes to the Otway Fly - the longest and tallest rainforest canopy walk in the world. Travelling towards Apollo Bay, the Cape Otway Lighthouse is only 25 minutes away. Lavers Hill, the hub of the local community, is just minutes from Parkwood Cottage and has numerous tearooms and a hotel which serves fine cuisine at very reasonable prices. Just a short drive will bring you to some fabulous local cafes and restaurants. If you are intent on total relaxation why not enjoy a massage in the privacy of your own cottage.

As well as being situated on the Great Ocean Road and within the Great Otway National Park, we are also about midway on the Great Ocean Walk Lavers Hill is a good spot to base yourself if you are considering doing the walk. The local tavern in Lavers Hill has an excellent chef for evening meals and we can organize a shuttle service for you if required.
